In short, you are:
- You collect a package of documents and wait for approval from the Endorsement Bodies.
- You receive a letter of approval.
- Then with this approval go to the embassy and apply for a visa.
- You arrive in the UK and receive a BRP (Biometric Residence Permit) at the mail office specified in the questionnaire.
On average, the review process lasts 5 weeks. In my practice, one of my clients received approval in just 3 days, and the longest review lasted 9 weeks.
When your application is approved, you will be sent an email with which you will go to the visa department for a visa. There you will normally fill out the questionnaire, leave your passport and pass the biometrics.
You will be issued a temporary visa for 3 months. Don’t be afraid, this visa is only given to enable you to enter the UK.
When you arrive, you will be able to pick up your BRP (Biometric Residence Permit) resident card at the post office you specified in the questionnaire.
